💡 Introducing Linda Bryant, Masters Student at the AIM Lab 💡Linda Bryant embarked on her journey into mental health through a BSc in Psychology at the University of Amsterdam, where she specialized in Clinical Psychology and Brain and Cognition. This academic foundation laid the groundwork for her interest in the intersection of clinical practice and neuroscience.Continuing her education, Linda is currently pursuing an MSc in Mental Health at King’s College London. Alongside her studies, she serves as an NHS clinical intern, working closely with psychosis patients.Linda's current research within the AIM Lab focuses on The Ketamine Project, which utilises neuroimaging to identify neural biomarkers associated with ketamine's effectiveness in treatment-resistant depression. The project additionally investigates the use of artificial intelligence to predict patient responses to ketamine, aiming to personalise treatment strategies.#AIMLab #MachineLearning #MentalHealthResearch #KingsCollegeLondon

🧠 Introducing Dr. Jana von Trott, Visiting Research Associate at the AIM Lab 🧠Jana commenced her medical and research career at LMU and TU Munich, where she developed a profound interest in psychiatry and neuroscientific research. Her initial foray into research involved a study on mental imagery using fMRI at LMU's Systems Neuroscience Lab, under the guidance of Prof. Ernst Pöppel, leading to her MD thesis. Whilst pausing her medical studies, she obtained an M.Sc. in Neuroscience from King's College London in 2017.Upon returning to Munich, Jana took up a position as a junior doctor in the clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at LMU, providing care for children and adolescents with various mental health conditions. Additionally, she engaged in depression research with PD Dr. Ellen Greimel’s group, focusing on a prevention and anti-stigma initiative. In her current role at the AIM Lab, Dr. von Trott employs machine learning techniques on multimodal datasets to identify early transdiagnostic markers of psychiatric disorders. Her research aims to uncover opportunities for early intervention to prevent or modify the progression of mental health conditions.#AIMLab #MachineLearning #MentalHealthResearch #KingsCollegeLondon
